Our caterer, Mama Russo's, promises us a night of great homemade Italian food. (Sorry, we could not find a Slovenian cook!) We will enjoy a buffet of baked chicken, homemade meatballs in a red sauce, lasagna, antipasto salad, garlic bread, and dessert. Beer and wine will be available. Ladies of the St. Peter Altar Society and young people from our area schools and parishes will be assisting.
The Singing Slovenes have graciously agreed to be our evening's entertainment. Their music is fun, upbeat, and lively, and their enthusiasm is contagious. The Singing Slovenes have just recorded their third CD. As their popularity has grown, we are glad that they have agreed to be with us again this year. Since they are performing gratis, we will be taking up a free-will collection for the group. To learn more about the Singing Slovenes, visit their website at www.singingslovenes.com .

Our Annual Meeting will feature Bishop Alexander K. Sample, Bishop of Marquette, and Bishop Emeritus of Marquette, James H. Garland, Executive Director of the Bishop Baraga Association, reporting on the progress of the Cause.
We pray that bishops, priests, dignitaries and many of the supporters of the Cause of Bishop Baraga from the Great Lakes area and beyond will be in attendance. We are especially thankful to tour leaders and those who are traveling by bus for their efforts and dedication. Remember, we are here to help all our members and to encourage new ones to join, so please ask if you have any questions. Consider sending us your nominations for Man, Woman, or Group of the Year. The honoree(s) will be announced at the Annual Meeting.
